Ending 2017 and starting 2018 in Florida pt. 4 – Mimosas and mini golf

While in Florida, we made it our mission to find the perfect breakfast spot. We sampled mimosas and eggs benedict, far and wide.

We finally found the perfect breakfast spot in Venice Beach. It’s very unassuming because it’s located on the bottom floor of a not-fancy hotel, but this place is LEGIT. The chef was trained at The Culinary Institute of America, and you could tell.

Blu Island Bistro had an amazing menu, but we went with the mimosas and eggs benedict. They had bananas foster french toast, and we couldn’t resist splitting that too. Everything was 100% on point, AND they have a patio where you can dine with your dog. Sold.

It was a bit chilly, but that didn’t stop us from exploring some beaches down near Venice.
